<p>We&rsquo;re excited to announce that Community Midrasha and the Levin JCC will be partnering to bring SALT (Social Action Leadership Training) to life! Thanks to your brainstorming and advice last spring, we&rsquo;ve been able to put together a program that incorporates hands-on community service activities, current event discussions, and leadership training workshops.<br /><br />There are two components to this program; each one meets once per month. 8th-12th graders are invited to participate in one or both parts. Throughout the program, we&rsquo;ll explore different <em>middot</em> (Jewish values) and put them into practice. <br /><br />We&rsquo;d love to kickoff this program with an interest meeting at the JCC Teen Lounge on Sunday, February 26th from 3-4:30pm. During this meeting, we&rsquo;ll nosh on snacks and let you all help finalize our plans &ndash; where you want to do your community service, which days of the week you&rsquo;d like to meet, and which <em>middot</em> you&rsquo;d like to incorporate into the program. <br /><br /><br /><br /></p>
